A new format for signed documents.

PDFs are made for reading. SelfieSign's .SVS is made for signing, so every signer is validated, every signature is sealed, and every document is provable.

Our manifesto

We think the e-signature is broken.

Yes, the thing half the world's deals run on.Loan agreements. Leases. Offer letters. Settlements.

For centuries, signing meant showing up, and the signature and signer were inseparable.

Then we went digital, and lost the hand.🫆

Today, most e-signatures are verified by default with just one thing: access to an email inbox.

Whoever opens the link can sign. And when a deal is disputed, all you have is an audit log.

You don't actually know who signed.

The industry's answer? Charge more for proof. 💸

Enterprise tiers. Sales calls. Separate workflows.

Assurance became an upsell.

We don't accept that.

So, we created .SVS (Selfie Video Signature) and made it available to every business, on every plan.

A standard e-signature for the routine paperwork. A video signature for the agreements that carry real risk.

The signer signs on camera. The recording is sealed to the document. Who signed is never in question.

And for the signer, it's just as easy. No apps, codes, or hoops.

The PDF preserves the document.
.SVS preserves the signing.

SelfieSign's .SVS file format

An e-signature confirms an action. It doesn't confirm who acted.

Ordinary e-signatures

They log the event.

Most e-signature platforms keep the transaction: an IP address, a timestamp, and a completed file. Useful data, but little context when a signature is questioned.

Selfie Video Signature (.SVS)

It records the event.

SVS records a short live video during signing and seals it with the document. Instead of reconstructing what happened from scattered logs, reviewers can return to the original session.

How it works

Four steps. One sealed record.

01

Add the document

Upload a PDF, PNG, or other supported file. SelfieSign converts it into a signing-ready .SVS container.

02

Record a live selfie video

Recording starts when the signer begins signing. Liveness checks screen for photos, masks, and replays.

03

Sealed automatically

The video, the signature, and the session metadata are bundled into a single .SVS file with a timestamp.

04

Save a reviewable record

Your signature stays secure, tamper-proof, court-admissible and verifiable for years.

CAPABILITIES

A record built for scrutiny.

383KB · VERIFIED

Every signature carries its own video.

SVS captures how a signature was drawn, alongside a live video of the signer's face. Those biometric signals are sealed with the signature and a hash of the document, so the physical act of signing becomes part of the record.

DYNAMIC CAPTURE

You don't turn it on. You just sign.

Video capture is triggered by the signature. Your team doesn't need a policy for it, and signers don't need a prompt or a reminder to use it.

LIVENESS DETECTION

Screened for spoofs before signing.

Aligned with ISO/IEC 30107, our liveness checks screen for printed photos, screen replays, and masks before signing begins.

INTEGRITY

Sealed to the document.

The session video and signature data are cryptographically bound to the document they execute. Any change after sealing breaks the binding and shows up on review.

NON-REPUDIATION

A record that's hard to walk back.

Each .SVS file preserves the signing as it happened: the session metadata, the signer on camera, and the room and audio around them.

COMPLIANCE

Open signature standards.

.SVS signatures meet the eIDAS requirements for Advanced Electronic Signature in XAdES format, with long-term validation. Any third party can verify them.

Use cases

When who signed this matters as much as what was signed.
